Jerry Garcia of Grateful Dead fame played steel on this Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young hit.
It remains one of the most recognisable Steel solos for the general public. 

Although Jerry himself stated that he was not much of a Steel Player,
I believe the simplicity of this break fits this tune perfectly.
